We are scheduled to use the computer lab for 30 minutes twice a week. We also have the option of extra visits anytime the lab is available. The students have opportunities to use the computer for learning games and searching the web for valid and reliable information. Students will complete several Web Quests, including one on the Rainforest . Each month, students also create bar and line graphs to organize their daily weather data. Students have also collected data from class surveys and created graphs with the data. Students also become more familiar with using the computer as a tool to enhance presentations and writing skills as they learn to use programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
